About UsJane Henning (Principal) Jane's occupation as a pedigree analyst evolved from a love of horses, a fascination with pedigrees and a work background in the racing industry. She first started planning matings professionally in 1987. The statistics arising from the first three years' matings planned for a client with three stallions and seventy mares in New Zealand were well above the accepted norm for a sire (and also well above the subsequent averages for these stallions). With these encouraging results Jane relocated to England to further her knowledge and worked there with a pedigree research bureau for two years where she had the opportunity to update and expand her ideas by meeting and working with established pedigree analysts. After returning to Australia, Jane started Pedigree Dynamics, which became a full time operation about fifteen years ago.
As the success of the planned matings accumulated, she found that she was also being asked to source bloodstock which met with all the criteria important for success, including mare suitability to clients' stallion holdings or vice versa. Several trips to South America and other racing countries resulted in the establishment of valuable contacts overseas, which has seen the bloodstock acquisition area of the business develop significantly over the past few seasons. Jane's spare time is taken up strapping for her daughter Belle, a keen showjumping rider, and following the progress of her own racehorses! Dikran Balian (Social Director)
Dik's role has evolved from his natural propensity to socialise. As Jane's husband and part- owner of several of the Pedigree Dynamics racehorses, Dik balances out the studious aspect of our business with the true spirit of racehorse ownership. He can be seen at most racing functions and yearling sales winning friends and influencing people. Jack (Welcoming Committee) While not bred on Pedigree Dynamics principles, Jack displays the key characteristics of his many breeds - the noble carriage of the Irish Wolfhound, the imposing size of the English Mastiff and the laziness of the Bloodhound.
Jack has a knack of making a large office feel small and everyone feel comparatively happy-faced.
