Prost was a very fast juvenile, setting a new race record in the G3 Canonbury Stakes over 1100m. He progressed in his three-year-old season to win the G2 Stan Fox Stakes over 1600m. The son of Snitzel retired to Aquis Farm in 2025.

Prost is a direct descendant of FRIAR’S CARSE, who is dam of War Relic, the sire of Relic. Relic appears in Australasian pedigrees as sire of PIECES OF EIGHT, sire of NZ Blue Hen EIGHT CARAT (dam of OCTAGONAL, KAAPSTAD, granddam of COMMANDS & DANEWIN) and damsire of BLETCHINGLY, already in Prost via Redoute’s Choice but can be duplicated.
Prost carries Danehill and a total of five lines to Northern Dancer, all tracing to ALMAHMOUD. Another family member to seek is HALO.
