South American-bred thoroughbreds continue to perform well worldwide with Brazilian-bred son of Spend a Buck, EINSTEIN, winning the Group 1 US$1million Santa Anita Hcp. The favorite for the most famous race to be held at Santa Anita was Champion 2YO in Chile in 2007, MATTO MONDO, who finished a very close third. EINSTEIN has now racked up four Group1 wins and with this latest victory has taken his earning to in excess of US$2.2million.
