This stunning portrait of STAR CROSS (Arg) was painted by renowned Equine Artist Lyn Beaumont. The portrait, which perfectly captures the stakes winning son of Southern Halo, was commissioned by his owners Jill and Michael MacDermott after the stallions untimely passing. Star Cross (Arg) was imported by Pedigree Dynamics from the United States where he finished his racing career with a string of stakes wins and placings. Once in Australia he stood at stud in NSWs Hunter Valley before the Jill and Michael decided to bring him home to Western Australia. Sadly, Star Cross died at the commencement of this third season at stud and his oldest progeny are now two year olds. We are looking forward to watching his progeny do Star Cross proud.
