MAKE A SPLASH IN RACING CIRCLES
The emerging success of imported Throughbreds was highlighted last weekend when Chris Wallers imported gelding, Shadow Cabinet (IRE) won the $70,000, March Hare Handicap (1550m) at Canterbury. The three-year-old Noverre gelding was purchased in the UK and exported to Australia at a fraction of what you would expect to pay to either breed and raise or purchase a yearling with the potential to become a city class horse. We currently have a number of tried horses available from all over the globe including a great staying prospect from France. This 2005 model colt has had 5 starts for 2 wins and 2 places including a 2nd place in Group 2 company over 2000m. This smart colt has already passed the ballot conditions for entry in the 2008 BMW Caulfield Cup (Gr1) and he also has a commercial pedigree so he could prove to be great value as a stallion prospect. He is a half brother to three stakes winners including a 4 time Gr1 winner and he is a son of ROCK OF GIBRALTAR who is not only currently the second leading sire of 3YO's in Australia but also sired Mount Nelson, the winner of last weekend's Coral-Eclipse Stakes (Eng-G1) at Sandown Park.. We have vision of his Gr2 placing which can be viewed by contacting Jane on 02 9997 3019 for further details.
