This 2YO filly began her racing career in Brazil in January 2008. She has had 5 starts to date, the first of which was on dirt and after showing no affinity for the surface, she was switched to turf where she immediately won the Classico Luiz Alves De Aleida (Listed) GP over 1300m. Following her gutsy win, which can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUDzCE1FZFM she placed 2nd in the Grande Premio Luiz Fernando Cirne Lima Group 3 GP. In May, she won a roughly contested Group 2 race however after a successful protest she was downgraded to 2nd place. At the end of June this smart filly was taken from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo for the Grande Premio Margarita Polak Lara (Group 1) in which she was on pace the entire 1600m and showed great determination by holding on for 3rd place. This is a very exciting filly, who in her first preparation is showing great strength, ability and the grit that is typical of South American bred racehorses.
